Rohje has completed its first month, and a good number of watches have been delivered to pre-order customers. In addition, we've been featured on Aamulypsy (a Finnish morning news program), secured a new retailer, and experienced some pretty wild Adventurister weather with horizontal snowfall.
Lately, we've been busy with all sorts of things besides shipping watches. We got our first reseller and a small mention on Finland's most popular morning show.
Our first retailer is located in Jyväskylä. KOTO Designmarket showcases modern Finnish design in the heart of Jyväskylä, making it a perfect fit for Rohje. We're very excited about this! Now you can see Rohje in person.
Another thing we're really excited about is our visit to Sanomatalo on Wednesday, February 6th, to be on Radio Suomipop's Aamulypsy morning show.
We were already thinking about who would be Rohje-type people and who would be granted the Adventurister title when we were planning the watches in the summer. Of course, Jaajo and Anni were the first to come to mind, as they have been entertaining the Finnish people for several years now.
We arranged a meeting with Jaajo at Sanomatalo. I was really nervous, but luckily Jaajo and Anni are great people and welcomed us warmly. We told them a bit about our idea to make watches and gave them the watches as gifts. Anni received the Adventurister White and Jaajo the Adventurister Dark – naturally with reindeer leather straps.
